Residenza D'Epoca Corte Dei Neri

Our host Duccio was great about helping us settle in and sharing tips for local sights and restaurants. My wife and I spent two nights at the Corte Dei Neri and had a wonderful time. The king-size suite was beautiful, and the location was perfect. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Firenze. 🙂Grazie a tutti, Duccio!

The person who checked us in was kind and helpful. Our room had high ceilings, but it still didn’t feel spacious, and both windows looked out at other buildings. The location is very central, though at this price I’d rather stay farther away in a place with better rooms.

We booked for the location, which really is a prime spot, but the stay was terrible. The internet didn’t work, so we had to go out into the street to use our phones. The air conditioning was out, the place was dirty, and plenty of other things were wrong. Some other people staying there even left to sleep at the airport rather than spend a night in the residence, because there was nowhere else available. When we complained, we were told we were wrong and shouldn’t bother them. They refused to refund us. I can’t see how it gets anything above two stars. I might have given it two if the internet had worked. People can disagree about reviews, but I still believe the five-star ones aren’t legitimate. Absolutely terrible.

The location is close to everything, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, with classic decor that gave it an old-city feel, and it was spacious. The bathroom was clean and roomy too. There was also a minibar, a safe, and air conditioning.
