I rented an apartment through this company at Via dei Serragli 167, and what happened there was unsafe and deeply troubling. There was a strong mold smell when I arrived, with active mold on multiple walls, the ceiling, bathroom, and bedroom. A licensed inspector I hired confirmed severe damage requiring at least €8,000 in proper remediation. The company sent someone who used bleach and paint instead, and the mold remained visible. They also told me I couldn't get my own inspection, which is false. Tenants in Italy can obtain independent inspections for unsafe conditions. My doctor advised me in writing to leave for health reasons, but the company still argued with me. Communication broke down quickly. They blocked me on WhatsApp and email. The tax code on the contract didn't match a legitimate business, and when I visited the listed office addresses, none existed. They also operate under several business names, which is a common red flag in rental scams. Their online reviews look suspicious too, with patterns often associated with bought or fake reviews, a common tactic among fraudulent operators. I had to file a police report and get help from the Carabinieri just to retrieve my belongings safely. My main contact was Edobardo Mancetti, who presented himself as the person in charge. Do not give these people your business.
A trendy, hip clothing shop. Some pieces seem overpriced for the quality and materials, but there are some pretty rad finds, especially on sale. I got a scuba/rickowens style leather jacket for under 300 EUR.
I shop at Mmega regularly because the pieces are so distinctive and the quality for the price is great. It's one of Florence's more interesting emerging brands. The shop is a few steps from ponte alla carraia and stocks its own Mmega collections alongside other well-known clothing brands. Camilla, the owner/stylist, is extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend.
The clothes are cool, but the staff weren't friendly.
One star is all I can give, though I'd give less if I could. The sales assistant was rude and unhelpful, and the clothes faded after just one wash. The quality is terrible, and the attitude was unforgivable.
