We found it easy to get around Florence from the hotel, and the value for money was good. It’s a 3-minute walk, so there’s plenty of time to eat breakfast before heading to the city center. Parking is available, though I’d suggest seeing the city on foot. The staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, and our clean, comfortable, well-equipped room was a nice place to unwind after exploring. Breakfast had a good variety and was good quality. It was a pleasant, peaceful stay, and we’d gladly return. Highly recommend.

This is a handy place to stay near the airport, and the tram nearby goes straight to Santa Maria Novella train station. The staff were helpful with everything we needed. They arranged a taxi for us, and when we had a small problem in the room, they fixed it right away.

The staff were pleasant and answered our questions helpfully, but we wouldn’t stay here again. The room was smaller than we expected, and the bathroom offered little privacy, with a transparent glass door that let you see and smell everything. We’d mentioned our honeymoon when booking, and while we didn’t expect anything, a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. On our couple of nights at the Cosmopolitan in Florence during our honeymoon in October 2025, the room smelled bad and the A/C was loud. We asked to switch rooms and were told no, then given a fan instead. We paid extra for breakfast one day, but didn’t think it was worth the cost. The hotel is about a 7-10 minute walk from the nearest tram stop to Santa Maria Novella, something to consider if you’re carrying heavy luggage.

It was easy to get to the airport, but the stay was expensive and the noise was awful. There was street noise, plus what sounded like renovation work going on all night. It was hot in early April, yet there was no AC. We couldn’t turn it on or lower it from the high setting.

The location worked well for us: close to the airport and quiet outside the centro, but easy to reach by train. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The scrambled eggs were next level, easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. The room was modern and comfortable, with air conditioning that felt like a real luxury in Italy in summer. It was immaculately clean, the cleanest I’ve experienced anywhere in Europe. From arrival on, every staff interaction was warm, courteous, and thoughtful. They made us feel genuinely welcome. After 20 years of frequent travel around Europe, this was my best hotel experience. I’ll absolutely be back and will recommend it to anyone heading this way. Trust me!
