Davanzati

Leonardo at reception made us feel at home, helping with restaurant suggestions and bookings, our bags, and the general atmosphere. We also enjoyed a couple of the happy hours and chatting with other guests. Our room at Hotel Davanzati had a private terrace and was unusually spacious and comfortable. Everything was easy to reach from the convenient location, and the rest of the staff were kind and helpful too. We'd happily recommend it.

We barely needed taxis because we could walk to most places, and when we did need one, the front desk arranged it quickly. The deluxe room was roomy, and the whole place was spotless. It's a charming, locally owned boutique hotel in a great spot, with especially good service from Cosmin and Francesco. Thanks, Hotel Davanzati, for a lovely visit.

Breakfast, afternoon snacks, and happy hour were thoughtful extras, and the receptionist even sorted out parking for us. The staff were so friendly, especially the young man who helped load and unload our luggage with a huge smile. The hotel was very clean and in an excellent location. The old building could get noisy at night, and the water pressure was a little weak, but the service more than made up for those things.

When I had to leave a day early at the last minute for reasons unrelated to the hotel, the staff explained clearly what refund options they could offer and showed me where the nearest laundromat was. They also replaced my lost key card without charging me and helped carry my luggage down the stairs at checkout. I was frazzled, and they made things much easier. I felt very welcome at Hotel Davanzati throughout my stay. The staff were lovely, the location is superb, and I especially liked the roomy bathroom in my single room.
