The view of the Duomo from the windows is breathtaking at night. The inn is a block from the Accademia Gallery and within walking distance of the Central Train Station. The owner and manager was a lovely, personable woman who showed me how best to see the city and where to get good food. The rooms are cozy, the common area has a fairly big TV and comfortable seats, and the kitchen and bathroom were perfectly fine. Staying here was one of the highlights of my time in Florence.

It’s a mixed hostel, and for the price it’s worthwhile, especially with the attractions so close by. Duomo complex and Da Vinci Museum are nearby. The building is old, smells old, and has no elevator. Rooms have three bunk beds but not much space. Bring your own towel, since none are provided. The bathroom is clean but tiny, and you may share it with up to five other people. The metal bunks creak a lot, which gets very annoying. There are only a few outlets in the room. They’ve added extension cords, but there still aren’t enough for every bed. You can rent a proper locker for €5 to store valuables. It’s a nice hostel for a couple of days, right in the middle of Florence.

Nadia, the owner, had great tips on places to visit and eat. My friend and I liked one restaurant so much that we went back a second time. The atmosphere felt homey and comfortable, almost like being at an aunt or uncle's place, whether you're there with friends or on your own. It’s a lovely tucked-away spot, nicely located and very close to the Duomo, Florence’s biggest attraction. I’d recommend it.

At check-in the staff shared lots of useful recommendations, which was great. They were really nice and friendly. It’s a small, cozy hostel, though the rooms get too warm. They put in a fan to try to help, and there are no lockers.

People were nice, the atmosphere was good, and the prices are reasonable for expensive Florence. The beds were clean, though not the most comfortable. There’s a small kitchen and an okay number of bathrooms, and the place is well located in the city center. The Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE. I asked around but couldn't get an answer about why it was so slow and unstable. As a backpacker with only my phone, that was a pretty big drawback.
