El Roy Garden Rooms

The apartment was amazing and had everything they said it would. What I enjoyed most, though, was seeing the people renting it help each other. I watched two people who spoke different languages communicate through Google Translate. We may not speak the same language, but there’s still a way to help each other. Parking is just around the corner. When you leave the house, turn left, then right at the end of the corner. The white spaces are parking spots. At the corner on the left, use the parking machine, enter your car number, choose the hours, and you’re set. I don’t remember the cost because my wife sorted it out 🤣. About seven minutes away there are lots of restaurants and a lovely walk for taking it easy. Enjoy.

The walk into town is flat and easy, and the tram stops are close by. Everything was clean and comfortable, communication was good, and check-in and checkout were simple. It was just what we needed for a few nights in Florence, and I’d stay again.

The room door lock was broken, and the shower was covered in black mold. It was on the bottom corners, inside and outside the shower, and was disgusting and unsanitary. We arrived late at night, and when I contacted the owner to ask for another room, she didn’t reply. Even though it was 11pm, my family and I had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. I would give this zero stars if I could. Please stay anywhere else during your time in Florence.

The receptionist was so kind and ready to help with my requests. The place is really close to both the city center and the station, and I loved the garden!
