We stayed in Jan 2023. The accommodation was a good size for two, with a full kitchen and a large lounge dining area. It offers good value for the facilities and is close to the main sights and restaurants, about 650 metres from the railway station. The representative met us within 10 minutes of the agreed time and showed us how everything worked. There are no lifts, and the stairs are very steep. The bathroom had a strange smell, possibly from the sewer system in the old building, but it wasn't a major issue and the rest of the place didn't smell. There are regular markets in the street below, setting up between 7:00 and 8:00 am and packing away around 7:00 pm, so there is some noise, though the apartment is well insulated from the street. We could also hear other apartments during the day, and the place doesn't get much direct sunlight. Yes, we'd stay again.

It's comfortable and spacious, though dark. Leaning out of the window gives you a view of Duomo's dome. The main drawback is the busy street. Every day there's terrible noise as sellers set up their stalls early in the morning and take them down late in the evening.

Everything felt especially comfortable and clean, and the apartment is lovely and welcoming, with the rooms thoughtfully laid out. We were there for just one night as a family and were delighted with it. Being right in the center made it easy to see the city and get to Fortezza da Basso. There are also some excellent traditional restaurants close by, all an easy walk away. A very enjoyable stay, and a great fit for families wanting comfort and a handy base for Florence.
