Green Domus

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We notified them when we’d arrive in Florence but got no confirmation. When we showed up at the expected time, there was no staff member and neither of the provided phone numbers worked, one even seemed disconnected. We had to find another hotel that same day and pay very high prices. The location may look good, but the staff weren’t reachable or helpful, and nearby shops didn’t even know there was a hotel in the area. Stay away.

The room was larger than I expected, and being close to the city center was the one real upside. The staff member was very unfriendly. She barely greeted us, just saying “green domus?” as an introduction, and didn’t say goodbye. When I asked where to leave the key, her answer made it feel like the question was an annoyance. The bathroom wasn’t up to standard. The shower ran out of hot water several times, and the toilet flush had problems. The Wi-Fi was slow, unreliable, and sometimes didn’t work at all. The walls are thin enough that you can hear the neighbors.

Nice place, and they have a kitchen. The service was good. There are plenty of nearby places to eat real local food at good prices, and the leather market is very close. It’s a 10-minute walk from the station, while the Rive n bridge shopping area is 20 minutes away on foot.
