Hotel Horto Convento

The staff were welcoming, courteous, and knew their stuff. The facilities and rooms were beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was included each day and delicious, and laundry service was available. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a Florence visit.

We were a young family traveling with our four-month-old and had a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful, everything lovely and clean, and the service was incredible, especially from reception and breakfast staff. It’s a little away from the touristy areas, which gave us the choice of heading in or staying out, but it was all walkable even with a travel pram and carrier. I’d bring both. If I’m being picky, the insulation could be better, but it didn’t disturb us. We adored this hotel, would stay again, and recommend it to others. Thank you!

I’ll definitely return and recommend this hotel to all my friends. I only wish I’d had more time to spend at the friendly bar, since this visit was a bit rushed. Thanks to all the staff, especially the warm breakfast team, for making my stay such a pleasure. The old convent has a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff and breakfast were the best I could wish for. It’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the bartender makes amazing cocktails with very elite service. The property itself is quiet and nice. But if you need a double room with two people sharing one bed, I’d strongly suggest another hotel. The bed is super small and so uncomfortable that you’ll be awake all night. There are lots of mosquitoes, and although they provide extra mosquito killers, it isn’t enough. Open the window at night and the room fills with mosquitoes again. The air conditioner is switched off and you can’t turn it on. For these reasons, I won’t return to this beautiful property.
