Industia Loft Apartment

I was there on my own a few weeks ago, and the stay was fine. It might be different in summer than in winter. The heating seems separate from the air conditioning. It looks switched on, but I don’t think it’s working. There’s a panel by the bathroom for setting the temperature. Most things were clean, apart from the high spots that would need a tall ladder to reach. The stairs up to the bedroom felt a little dangerous, which was my only real downside. Next door there’s an ice cream shop I’d recommend. It’s reasonably priced, and they make natural ice cream and serve it in shells. Paris has a few famous places doing that for exorbitant prices, but Florence’s ice cream shops are definitely on another level. Hope this helps.

The apartment was dusty, and the sheets were dirty with hair from other tenants, so we were disgusted and slept on the couch. The owner wasn’t there to deal with anything. When we complained about the sheets, all he could say was “WEIRD,” as if someone would enjoy putting hair on the sheets they’re supposed to sleep in. Then at 11:00 AM the cleaning lady pushed us out like tenants, without even giving us time to get ready and leave. It was a terrible experience. I’ll never stay here again.

The landlord ignored my messages, and I couldn’t check in. The air conditioner didn’t work, the screen was broken, and the apartment was full of mosquitoes. For that price, it was outrageous. There was no fire extinguisher, and the kitchen was dirty and covered with maggots. I’ve never seen anything like it.

We arrived to find no keys in the mailbox. The manager wouldn’t answer our calls, and we waited six hours before she finally responded. Someone who hadn’t booked was occupying our apartment. That person let us into their apartment to help us find another solution, and while we waited I saw the room was dirty, had holes still in the walls, a broken stove, and no hot water. The manager was completely unprofessional, and we’re still waiting for our refund. I wouldn’t recommend booking here. Rating: 0.
