There's a bold, distinctive feel to the interior, and the hotel comes across as genuinely authentic to central Florence. My room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helped with everything I needed. They'll also store your luggage for free after check-out, which meant I could keep exploring. I highly recommend the place and would definitely come back.

The bathroom being outside the room was very inconvenient, and the noise made it hard to relax. Our room faced a busy main road, so we could hear quite a lot. There was a lift, but it only started on the first floor, meaning we had to haul our heavy bags up there first. It was tiny too, barely enough for two people with luggage. Overall, the stay wasn't a very good experience.

We spent three days in Florence, and the hotel was also very close to the city center. The rooms were comfortable and had adjustable temperatures, and the bathrooms were satisfactory. Everyone was kind and approachable. Signora Sabina was especially memorable and welcoming. Thank you from Greece.

This is a two-star hotel right in the heart of Florence, near many historic sites and surrounded by restaurants. “Vintage” describes it well: it looks old, but is extremely well maintained. The rooms may lack some amenities, but the staff are very accommodating. We didn't have an electric kettle, for instance, but could ask reception for hot water. The desk stays open until midnight.
