Martelli 6 Suites and Apartments

The rooms were spacious, tidy, and had the basics, though we missed a few kitchen items like knives and a can opener. The smart TVs had apps installed, but the WiFi wouldn't support them, so I used my Amazon Firestick for Netflix and other streaming. We also needed laundry facilities during our Christmas stay and there weren't any. The location is hard to beat: Martelli 6 Suite & Apartments is about 50 meters from the Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore), right beside Eataly, and the Uffizi, Accademia, and Ponte Vecchio are a 5-10 minute walk away. Breakfast tickets are for a nearby restaurant. The choices are limited, but what was offered was fantastic. Garage Michelangelo at Via Ricasoli, 28 is nearby and has an agreement with the property. It costs about €31 per 24 hours. Staff were also very helpful about storing our luggage after checkout. Temporary parking to load bags can be tricky if you have a lot of luggage. We had an amazing stay and would happily recommend it. If being close to Florence's historic center is a priority, this is a great mid-range option.

We'd happily come back if we're in the city again. The room was roomy, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well cared for, and it's only about a two-minute walk from the Duomo.

The reception team were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and big enough for a short visit. From here, the sights are all within about a 10-15 minute walk, with the Duomo very close by. Just remember this is a serviced apartment rather than a hotel, so you'll be choosing from Florence's many places to eat.

We picked this hotel for the room setup, its location, and the lift, which made handling our luggage easier. The room had plenty of space by European hotel standards, and our daughters loved the smaller beds. The cathedral-like ceiling was stunning. We were very happy with our stay and would consider returning.
