New Generation Hostel Florence Center

The location, building, and rooms are good. That’s about all I liked. Having the bathroom inside the room is really inconvenient, especially at night, and you can hear everything, so taking a late shower isn’t an option. There aren’t any other toilets. The kitchen is just an empty space, with no utensils or hand towels. It’s technically on the ground floor, but there are a few steps, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. Bare minimum, and I’d book only if nothing else was left. It’s pretty clear the owner doesn’t really care.

Great for budget backpacking, and the staff were the best part. They were so kind and helpful, especially Rizk, who was incredibly hospitable. Towels and soap were provided too, which was awesome.

The location is really good, but the showers and bathroom weren’t very clean. There are only 3 showers for more than 20 beds. The staff weren’t friendly, and it’s expensive for what you get.

The location is good, but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. The bathrooms are disgusting, with just 2 toilets and 1 shower for about 15 people. The rooms have no doors, so it’s SO NOISY, and there are no bed curtains or soap in the bathrooms. Staff were rude and badly trained. They didn’t greet us or help with requests, and it was obvious they weren’t cleaning.
