I chose this place for its location, decor, and price, but arrived to find a soulless data mining corporation based in Germany. Communication was mostly handled by AI, and it seemed more focused on selling an app and brand than offering real hospitality. This isn’t a hotel, it’s a short term rental with no service at all. The kitchenette and on site laundry were a couple of the few useful features, and could suit able bodied young professionals or perhaps a small family staying over a week who want some independence. There’s no lift, though. I don’t think a future without workers is going to work. Humanity and hospitality still matter in the 21st century.

Our room was extremely cramped, and upstairs the carpet and walls looked clearly uncleaned. Then on the last day, the luggage locker jammed completely and we missed our train while waiting a long time for staff to help. We called again and again without getting an effective response. The person who eventually arrived was helpful, but it was clear NUMA had not briefed him properly or dealt with the issue. Poor organization and communication caused an unacceptable problem for guests. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Three bathrooms made a real difference for our group of friends, and the beds were huge and comfortable. The apartment was also spotless and convenient, with very easy check-in and check-out. Staff were helpful and quick to reply by message. The area stays lively even at night, which we liked, though there was some evening noise. Earplugs were provided, a thoughtful extra. We had a wonderful time and would choose this place again in Florence with friends or family.

The room was clean when we arrived, and the location is good. But I can’t honestly give this a good review. We booked a particular room because we liked its decor in the website photos, then got a room that looked different. That mattered to us. The bathroom was different too, with a very small shower unlike the pictures and a sink that kept filling up with water. The air conditioner also wasn’t working properly, and we could only get it to 21 degrees, which felt a bit cold for us, especially at night.

Free lockers, lovely rooms, and a great spot just five minutes from Vecchio bridge. A perfect place to stay in Firenze!
