The location is good, the room and bathroom were clean, and the reception staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Up to that point I would have rated it 8/10. But be careful if breakfast is why you’re booking. We chose this hotel for it and were very disappointed by the two women working in the kitchen. They were unfriendly and unhelpful, and acted aggressively toward us. One snatched a croissant from my hand while yelling; the other watched from the kitchen doorway and said, “What's wrong? Is there a problem? Aren't you happy?” We were shocked, and their behavior ruined breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay that includes kitchen and breakfast service.

The staff were happy to help at check-in and checkout, and the hotel offers 24-hour check-in. It’s a little older, but clean and pleasant, and it exceeded our expectations. Shops, a supermarket, car hire, laundry, bus, train and tram stops are all within a five-minute walk. We stayed two nights. The room was small and dated, but clean, and the shower cubicle might be tight for a larger person. Breakfast wasn’t amazing, but it was fine. You can walk around the city center, with a total route of about 4,000 in around 2-4 hours. I’d strongly recommend it for a future stay.

The staff were especially helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable and kept very clean, and our balcony was a nice place to sit. The breakfast had a decent selection and a pleasant room. Bathrooms were clean and fairly modern, though the shower was fixed, and I’d prefer a hose. That’s a small detail. It’s a traditional hotel without frills, but you don’t really need them. The railway station is only a few minutes away on foot. If you want a clean, convenient hotel with breakfast and no extras, it’d be hard to find a better one.

The location was the only really good part. The room was so old and terrible, I can’t find the words for the bed, shower, door or amenities. We travelled with a four-year-old child and stayed four days, but couldn’t give the baby a shower. We felt isolated, and breakfast was far too poor. A very bad experience.
