There was no lock on the dorm door, and strangers came into our room twice, which felt completely unsafe. The floors were filthy, dust was everywhere, the place was noisy and old, and the common areas were usually locked. It looked nothing like the photos online. On Friday, the hotel turned into a nightclub: music went until 4:30 a.m., people stayed around until 6:30, and guests from the club wandered into hostel areas without anyone controlling it. I couldn't sleep, and it ruined my visit to florence. I stayed three nights in the shared dormitory in early October with other girls who felt the same way. I only expected a basic bed, but even that was impossible. Service was minimal, and €50 a night for this was unacceptable. It may once have been decent, but it's completely mismanaged now. Avoid it.

Finding the hostel was difficult, which made things more frustrating as a first-time traveler. I was traveling alone and stayed in a six-bed shared room. I felt unsafe because the room didn't have a secure lock, and people came into it after a late-night party in the lobby. It was creepy and uncomfortable. The shared washroom wasn't well maintained either. It was meant for two people, but one connecting door was broken, so only one person could actually use it, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Friday night's party in the lobby was loud and continued until around 4 a.m., making sleep impossible. I was really disappointed. Basic safety, cleanliness, and working facilities weren't there.

We had a great time from Friday to Monday and will definitely book again. The staff were great, and they invited us to their birthday party with masks, which we enjoyed. There are lots of restaurants outside and a lovely park nearby. The location is a bit outside the city, but still an easy enough walk.

I didn’t feel safe here. The women’s room door wouldn’t lock with a key, and during a drunken party someone came into the room several times. The doors overall felt flimsy, and the hostel staff ignored my complaints. There are lockers, but you have to buy your own locks. It’s more like a bar and party club than a hostel. Nobody warned us, and there was no information that a club on the building’s first floor holds loud parties until 3 or 4 a.m. The music shook the whole building, and the smell of alcohol and cigarettes drifted up to the second-floor rooms. The bathroom setup was strange too: one room split by a thin screen, with two toilets and two showers. On my second day, one bathroom lock broke. This was my worst experience. I don’t recommend it.
