Palazzo Don Minzoni

It was my first time staying in Milan, and I was glad to find this little place just outside the city. The rooms are spacious, and in the morning you wake to birdsong, fresh croissants and coffee. The staff made us feel welcome, and it’s an easy walk into town.

The room was modern and clean, and we felt we got good value for the money. Staff were ready to help with any questions, and the hotel is a short distance from the center. There aren't any parking spots, unfortunately, so we used a private parking house. We'd definitely return on another visit to Firenze. Thank you!

The rooms look luxurious and very good, but there was a noticeable mold smell as soon as we entered the building. There’s no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. In the morning, the cleaning staff changed the bed covers and stacked them in the lobby, leaving the unpleasant smell of sweat to greet you at the start of the day. The shower water pressure was poor, too.

The location worked well, with plenty of shops, bars and cafes nearby and bus and tram stops close by. The city center is about a 20-minute walk away. Our room was very clean and had air conditioning, and check-in and checkout were easy.
