Palazzotto Pitti by Mmega

The location was very good, but the room was full of mosquitoes. They called it an apartment, though it was really a room with an extremely tiny en suite bathroom. It hadn’t been cleaned properly after the previous guests, and although we reported that and staff said they’d send someone, nobody ever came. Not worth the money. There are plenty of other places nearby in the same location, so stay somewhere else.

We had a great time staying here over Easter. Everything was perfect, and we can’t wait to return.

We were looking for a proper apartment rather than a standard hotel room, and Palazzotto Pitti in the Oltrarno was just right. The renovation and finishes were lovely, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We picked up fresh produce at the local market and made breakfast at home. The street was quiet, even though trattorias, wine bars, and artisan shops were all around us. Palazzo Pitti is just around the corner, and Ponte Vecchio took about 8 minutes on foot. Self check-in was easy and hassle-free. I’d happily stay again.

I felt right at home during this lovely stay in the heart of Florence. I’ll definitely come back.
