Provenzale Casa

The apartment is right in central Florence, with bars nearby, so there can be some street noise at night. Light sleepers may find that bothersome. Also, getting up the stairs could be tough with heavy bags, a stroller, young children, or a wheelchair, since there's no lift. Inside, it was spacious, spotless, and beautifully put together, mixing modern fixtures with a traditional Italian style. We loved the comfortable bed, pillows, and linens, and there was lots of storage and plenty of hangers. The kitchen is compact but cleverly arranged, with good storage and all the cutlery and dishes we needed. The bathroom was well designed and had branded toiletries. There was also a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, plus a dining table and other seating. We especially liked the two TVs with Chromecast for streaming shows or music, along with the kettle and coffee machine. The place exceeded our expectations and felt ideal for a couple. Unita tram station is about a 20-minute walk away, with a direct ride to the airport and just one stop to Santa Maria Novella, the main train station.
