The room was nice, clean, and decent, and the stay was good value compared with other places we've tried. The staff were kind and helpful too. We'd definitely choose it again.

I arrived after midnight to find that my room had been double-booked and someone else was already staying in it. There's no reception, nobody answered the phone, and I had to find somewhere else on my own in the middle of the night. Do not stay here. I called over the following days and sent a message through Hotels.com, but nobody replied. I requested a refund through Hotels.com, and Residenza d'epoca Pontevecchio refused. They apparently had the choice to refund me, but they didn't deliver the service I'd paid for. That feels like theft.

The room had a lovely garden view, and the city center was an easy walk away. It's right by the riverfront, too. The renovated room in the beautiful building had a real wow factor, and it was worth what we paid.

Tea and coffee were available to make in the room at no charge, and the access code came through on the day we arrived. The place was very clean, centrally located, and the service was friendly.
