Riva Lofts has a lovely boutique feel, quite different from a standard business hotel. The decor in the grounds and our suite was tasteful, and it felt like staying in an upscale European chateau. The people and service were wonderful too. Although it's outside Florence's old center, we were close to a tram stop, just a 10-15 minute ride from the center, or a 30-40 minute walk, which made it a welcome escape from the bustle. I didn't get to try the restaurant on site, but I've heard good things about its food and service.

The room was nice, the employees were super friendly, and the breakfast area was relaxing. The local Pam shop was handy, and the tram was easy to get to. I stayed for two days and would definitely return to Florence and this spot. The only little things I wished were different: one large bed instead of two singles pushed together, and faster warm water in the shower. The water got better on day two, so maybe it was just the off-season. Neither issue changed my rating.

We found Riva Lofts through the Mr. & Mrs. Smith Collection with Hyatt, and I'm glad we did, since I might have missed it in a regular hotel search. My wife and I loved our stay. Our upstairs room was huge and cozy, the staff were wonderful, and the food was exquisite. We enjoy walking, and it took about 40 minutes to reach the heart of Florence. The light rail is only five minutes away and goes to the train station. Right by the river, it's peaceful but still close to the sights. We highly recommend Riva Lofts!

Laura was warm, friendly, and eager to help with anything. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic, and the waitstaff were great too. The only downside was the stairs up to the loft bedroom and the awkward paths when carrying luggage.

A fantastic base for exploring Firenze and the surrounding area. The architecture and facilities are lovely, the staff unbelievably kind, and the welcome and breakfast are so warm that you'll want to stay for the rest of your days, honestly.
