The apartment itself was cozy, clean, and quite nice, but the smell outside was awful. Each morning when we left, there was a horrible odor along the street, bad enough to make you gag sometimes. It could be smelled inside the apartment too, though not as strongly. My wife had headaches on most days, and we think they may have been caused by whatever fumes were behind it. The building seems to have a plumbing problem. I’d avoid staying here until it’s fixed.

Check-in was on time, pleasant, and thorough, and the owner or management were helpful whenever needed. The place itself is welcoming, clean, and quiet, with bars and shops nearby and the center just a few steps away. There are three proper bedrooms. One is on a mezzanine open to the living room, but it has its own bathroom and enough privacy. A good base for a few days of exploring with plenty of independence. I’d happily come back if I need to.
