Opera House Florence

We stayed in the Turandot room as a couple in early December. The host sent friendly, clear information beforehand, so self check-in was simple. It’s a great base for the historic center, close to the sights and convenient if you’re arriving by train. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and welcoming. The new mattress was comfortable, with two pillows per person in different firmnesses and extra blankets available. We also found complimentary water and a bottle of Prosecco. The bathroom was outside the room, which didn’t bother us; it was a little small, though the shower itself was roomy. Free tea, herbal infusions, and coffee in the common room were handy, and there’s a small Conad supermarket on the street. Being able to leave our bags after checkout was great, since we could explore before collecting them to leave. One small suggestion for the future: the automatic hall lights on the way to the outside bathroom could be dimmer at night, using the existing home automation system.
