A good budget pick if you don't mind stairs. There's no lift, which I believe was already stated, but it's useful to know, and the staff kindly offered to carry our luggage upstairs. The location was great, about five minutes from the train station and two from the Duomo. We didn't have trouble with water escaping the shower. We kept the curtain tucked inside the shower and the bathroom stayed dry.

The staff were really kind to us, and our room was spacious and clean. The location was excellent. There isn't an elevator, but that didn't bother us.

The location is hard to beat for the price, near SMN train station, the Duomo, restaurants and shops. The staff were welcoming, and our connected triple room was pleasant enough. On the third floor, the windows kept out a lot of the noise from the very busy street, though the stairs are steep and there's no lift, so keep that in mind. The bathroom was the main problem. The shower floods the floor, leaving you with wet feet at the toilet beside it. The room is tiny, there's nowhere to put anything, and even I, despite being short, barely had space to sit. A few shelves would help. The photos are very outdated, too: the breakfast room is gone, and what's available now is a coffee and juice machine plus cakey croissants. We wouldn't stay again, though it did meet our needs.

A good-value place for anyone coming to enjoy Florence and wanting a great location. The front desk crew are friendly and ready to help. Just know it's not a luxury hotel: the bathroom is small and there's no elevator. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, it's a solid option.
