Scipio - Florence Luxury Loft

We were pleasantly surprised by how well this worked for our road trip around Tuscany. Getting around Florence can be a bit complicated, but the B&B is just outside the ZTL zone. It's a pleasant 20-minute walk to the Duomo, day or night. If you'd rather not walk, electric scooters and bikes can get you to the center in about six minutes. The neighborhood was quiet and clean, with a supermarket, bakery, cafes, and restaurants nearby for times we didn't want to go far. The room was cute and stylish, with decor my wife loved, and it was impeccably clean. Our window looked onto a quiet inner courtyard. The host recommended a public parking lot seven minutes away on foot, at €15 for 24 hours. For Florence, that isn't much. Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful stay :)

We could check ourselves in and manage our time in the city freely. The next morning we met the relevant staff to finish the paperwork and pay the tourist tax. Breakfast can be left outside the door if you ask, and there's a Coop nearby that's open until 9 p.m. The property is new and well located near the center of Florence. Our accommodation was spacious, elegant, modern, simple, and clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great shower. I understand there are four units: one apartment with a kitchen for up to four people on longer stays, one room with a double bed and a single sofa bed, and two rooms with a standard double bed. Highly recommended!
