Suite Medici

We weren't hotel guests, but used their paid luggage storage and found it safe and well organized. A few days later, the lovely woman at the front desk even helped us book a taxi. The people here were truly kind and helpful.

We had a great two-night stay, and staff were friendly and happy to answer anything, whether we called or spoke with them in person. The room and terrace both had fantastic views. The room itself was nice, with old furniture that seemed to be an intentional part of the hotel's charm. The photos were what made us fall for the setting. Our room was cleaned and the towels changed, and after checkout we left our bags for a few hours so we could walk around before leaving. A really good option for a short Florence visit. We came away with very good impressions, and I'd recommend it.

The best thing was the wonderful Duomo view from the rooftop. You don't have to buy anything up there, though they do check that you're a hotel guest. The rest of the stay was pretty miserable. We were there for two nights in April 2026, and the hotel had the bare minimum, very budget-friendly sort of feel. Towels were paper thin, toiletries were scarce, and the city center location meant noise all night. The walls were very thin too. There was loud construction outside at 4 in the morning, so loud I thought I was dreaming. There was no AC while we were there, so we had to open the windows because it was hot. With no screens, mosquitoes bit me all night. I wouldn't stay here again.

That rooftop bar has a stunning view over the City, easily one of the best parts of the stay. The place is clean and right in the center, handy for seeing all of Firenze. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were super nice. No minibar in the room we requested, though the reception can lend you a steam iron if you need one.
