Mariano was a terrific host, friendly and responsive, and a great source of information about the city and beyond. Our flight was severely delayed and we arrived very late, but he waited for us and helped us reach the location safely. The place was cute, well maintained, and generally clean, with a spacious room and a private ensuite washroom that worked well. We did notice a slight smoke smell from the mattress or pillow, even though the property is non-smoking. Basic breakfast was set out in the kitchen each day, with coffee ready to brew in moka pots. A great grocery store is just steps away, as is the very nice Italian restaurant Jb7. It's about a half-hour walk to the central tourist area, or you can take a nearby bus. Much of the walk follows a well-lit tourist shopping street, while the area around the b&b is very quiet at night. The breakfast was good, and the stay was great value with such a good host. We'd gladly return.

The accommodation sits in a pleasant residential part of Florence, away from the busy tourist crowds, which made our three-night visit feel authentic and relaxing. A lovely 30-minute walk through Florentine streets leads to the city centre, and buses connect the area well. Mariano was friendly, welcoming, and available whenever we needed him. His care for the place showed: everything was spotless, comfortable, and organized. He also suggested excellent places to visit and restaurants to try, which made our trip even better. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

The room was clean and the bed was good, and Mariano was lovely whenever we needed help or an answer. My girlfriend and I felt genuinely welcome. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Firenze.

We found the B&B clean and beautiful, and Mr. Mariano welcomed my family so warmly. Breakfast was good and there was enough of it. It’s about 2 km from the city center, with good transport connections. Since it’s on the road, traffic makes it a little noisy, though we could live with that. Great value for the money, and I’d recommend it.

The bus stop is only a few minutes away, and it takes you straight to the city center. We also found the room quiet and very clean, with air conditioning. But the best part was Mariano, who was easily the best host I’ve met. He was so welcoming and shared lots of sightseeing tips and nearby restaurant suggestions. Good value for the price. I’d recommend staying here.
