Velona's Jungle Luxury Suites

The rooms have a distinctive feel and the quality you'd expect from a great 5-star hotel. From the moment I was welcomed and handed an insider's list of Florence's great restaurants and cafes, Velona’s Jungle Luxury Suites felt like home. It's where I'll stay again when I come back next year.

After long days walking around Florence, it was lovely to come back to somewhere peaceful despite being close to the city centre. Breakfast was fresh and simple, and suited the place's boutique, home-like feel. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches in the bedding and design. Velona’s Jungle Luxury Suites has a bold, artistic jungle theme that feels fun and elegant at once. The decor gives the place plenty of character, and although every corner seems carefully designed, it still feels cozy rather than overdone. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, with useful suggestions and personal touches that made the stay feel relaxed. It felt more like staying in a stylish private home than a typical hotel, and like a hidden gem in Florence. If you enjoy places with personality and comfort, it's a memorable choice.

The food tips were a highlight. One bakery they pointed us to became our favorite of the whole trip, and we went back several times. Velona's Jungle also had lovely rooms, spotless and quiet, with a great smell, and we liked the independent feel of the place. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the town center, which we enjoyed. The staff were amazing, and we had an incredible stay. We’ll recommend Velona's to everyone we know!

The location worked perfectly for us, close to the old city but still peaceful. Our room was individually decorated, and breakfast was wonderful, brought right to the room. The staff were so friendly. Staying at Velona's was a really great experience.
