The views are breathtaking, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We also loved having the pool on a hot day. The Romatica rooms are a little tired, with marked walls and a loose toilet seat, and housekeeping was hit and miss. The bedding and towels were spotless, but tea, coffee, milk, and minibar refills were there some days and missing on others. Private events were held at the hotel without any warning to guests. For four nights in a row, we didn't feel we could use the balcony terrace, even though it has the best views.

We hosted our wedding here, and working with the staff was beyond what we expected. The hotel is beautiful, with incredible views over the city. Catch the sunset from there and you won't forget it. The food was amazing too. We'll be back.

We had a wonderful stay for our belated honeymoon, and my wife and I both think this is the best place we've stayed in for years. The staff were so friendly and keen to help. They even offer turndown service, which I hadn't heard of before my wife explained it. Someone prepares the bed for you before you go to sleep and leaves some nice candies. The hotel is beautifully appointed. I loved the Terrazzo floors, which look like marble but are made using a different technique, and the hardwood in the room. We had lovely views of Florence from the room and the rooftop. The pool looked fantastic, though we didn't get to try it. Breakfast was a treat every morning, with amazing ingredients, and the restaurant was five star. Everything we ate was creative, delicious, and a good size. There's a shuttle to Florence, and nearby michelangiolo plaza has even better city views. The hotel has about 20 rooms, so the personal attention really matters. We had a great time, and I can't recommend it enough.

The restaurant may have served the best food I've ever had, and there's a huge wine list with some important super Tuscans for wine buffs. Each morning started with an excellent buffet breakfast, and the hotel also ran a free shuttle to and from the edge of the town center. We stayed for our honeymoon and the staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was fully stocked, with comfortable beds, shutters, extra pillows, a minibar, and a TV with only a few English news channels. We weren't disturbed by other guests. We'd love to return.

The outdoor wedding we attended here was easily among the top three I've ever been to. Every detail felt exquisite, and when rain came during dessert, the move indoors went smoothly. You can't beat the Florence views from the venue. Our dear friend's son also married a beautiful Italian girl.
