Vivaldi luxury suites

We could walk to the center from here, and the train station was just five minutes away. The modern room was clean and the furniture had great taste. The espresso machine worked really well in the morning, and we were allowed to leave our luggage after check-out. There was daily room service, though we didn’t use it, a beautiful courtyard, and several local restaurants downstairs. Strongly recommended.

The Wi-Fi was so bad we had to go out to the street to get a stable signal for checking in for our flight. There were ants in the bathroom too, which was unpleasant. The hotel offers only the bare basics: for three people we got two teacups and no teaspoons. Housekeeping has to be requested and is only available every other day, while customer support was basically nonexistent. Even when staff came to clean, they had no supplies to replenish basic items.

The early check-out at 10:00, and even the 15:00 check-in, were inconvenient. A later check-out would have been appreciated. Still, Vivaldi Luxury Rooms was beautifully designed, spotless, and well equipped, with an easy check-in and handy tea and coffee facilities. The courtyard was lovely, the pleasant scent throughout the property added to the stay, and the location made it easy to reach the city’s main attractions.

Even on a busy street, the place felt like a quiet little oasis. It was easy to find, directly across from Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy, and the self check-in instructions were clear and simple. My room was spacious, with a separate sleeping area, wet bar, and refrigerator. The decor was tasteful, and I loved the ceiling paintings. Best bed of my two-week trip, too. I slept really well.
