Our family of eight booked at this property in Florence, and the operator did not handle things professionally. The AC wasn't working, and when we reported it, they said they'd look into it the next day. The temperature was 30C, as shown in an image of the working thermostat in the apartment. We had to leave and pay out of pocket for another hotel at €400 per night. Thanks to Hotel Santa Croce for helping us out by 9:30pm on Friday night. They say they sent us another hotel the next day. Half our party moved there, but they wouldn't offer any credit for our having to leave on the first night with children, while the other half relocated at our own expense to the other apartment outside central Florence. We don't leave bad reviews unless they're warranted. We told them we'd be honest if they didn't make it right, and this is what happened. Simply put, DO NOT USE WINE APARTMENTS. They won't take care of your holiday. I'm sure they'll reply, but this is an honest review from a well-travelled group of eight. I'll share this on Agoda, Booking, Facebook, Hotels, and elsewhere so travellers know to be wary.

It was a convenient, reasonably priced place for five of us, with comfortable beds and a very clean interior. There wasn't much communal space, but that worked for us since we mainly needed somewhere to sleep and change. The location in central Florence made a great base for exploring. A couple of things could be better: the balcony area looked like it hadn't been cleaned and was a bit of a mess, and the kitchen was poorly equipped. There weren't enough glasses or cups for all five of us to have coffee or drink the wine they left, which was a nice touch. We ended up buying paper cups at the supermarket. I'd recommend it for a group.

Sangiovese by Wine Apartments made a good base for exploring Florence, with the major sights an easy walk away. It was well appointed and had air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable. The host was welcoming and responsive. The bathroom is off the second bedroom, as mentioned, which makes it more suitable for families than a group of friends. I'd stay with Wine Apartments again.

The advertised wifi didn't work, and neither did the air conditioning. The unit was very old, and staff weren't helpful when we raised the problems. Don't stay here. There are plenty of other decent places for a similar price.

Very clean and comfortable flat. It was great, though having the one bathroom off one of the bedrooms was a bit inconvenient and strange.
