We stayed one night while driving north from the south toward Rome, and we’re glad we chose this lovely hotel. It’s a friendly family-run place with more to it than you’d guess, including amazing spa facilities that are a must and a restaurant where we think Nonna does the cooking. One warning: Rocco the cat is really in charge, so if you spot him hiding somewhere, be ready to share the intel. If you’re on the fence, trust us and stay.

This hotel is a real gem. With a stay like this, the destination almost becomes secondary: you can just relax and enjoy yourself. It’s family-run, and they seem to anticipate what you need before you know it yourself. The room was spotless, breakfast had a great choice of Italian pastries, and the hospitality was first class.

We got to town at 10 p.m. on 5/17/2016 with no booking, and every hotel seemed full. The owner pointed us toward somewhere we might find a room, then, after we asked about dinner, paused and invited us in. He even moved his car so we could park. His mom was still cleaning the kitchen after what sounded like a long day, but she made us pasta and fish, both delicious. The bill for four people, with plenty of local red wine, came to 60 euros. We paid 100 and asked him to give some extra to his mom. She came out to hug and kiss us on the cheeks. We felt like family. I can't speak to the rooms, but the people were lovely and welcoming.

We were lucky to find this welcoming family-run hotel. The restaurant serves wonderfully fresh food, depending on what's available, and everyone was very friendly.

A cosy, family-run place right in the centre of Foggia, and a good spot to unwind. Breakfast was generous, with really tasty homemade cakes and biscuits. It also accepts pets, which is unusual for the area.
