We came for a quiet, relaxing stay, and the peaceful setting and mostly older guests suited us. The location is lovely, with a nice pool area and bar. Terrazza bar was a real highlight, unlike the food elsewhere, which was expensive and pretty poor. In the restaurant, the plates and glasses weren’t properly clean, and at the breakfast buffet the staff directed us where to sit instead of letting us choose. Very few people understood English. The rooms need some attention: the beds were horrible, the shower was bad, and cleaning fell below par. It could be an excellent place if they fixed these issues and renovated the rooms a little.

The view of Ciatara was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the accommodations and full breakfast. Elenna and Daniela welcomed us at breakfast, while Nicola and Maria at the front desk gave us a warm, courteous welcome. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the food, which felt honestly prepared, and our room was cleaned properly every day. The view and location are probably the main reasons to pick this hotel. Comfort was extremely low, though. Even with a superior room, ours was small, the mattress was horrible, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly. It also felt like there was no privacy, with strangers constantly around us. Restaurant service was barely professional, and reception wasn’t up to standard. This hotel won’t suit everyone, and it didn’t meet the standard we expected.

The hotel seems great for the price, though I might still be feeling the sticker shock from Positano and Capri. At dinner, in a room of roughly 100 people, my girlfriend and I were the only ones under 45. Maybe that’s true of the island generally. I’ve heard it’s a destination for seasoned individuals. I’m staying here now.
