Cocos Park Ischia

The two men who run this place were the highlight. They looked after me from the moment I arrived until I left, and were friendly, personable, and full of useful recommendations. Breakfast was great, too. The location worked perfectly for me, close to good food, the thermal spa I wanted to visit, garden of Poseidon, the beach, Sant’Angelo, and more. Their hospitality and knowledge of the area were outstanding. I’d recommend this place a million times over.

I travelled on my own, and my room was simple, clean, cosy, and had a beautiful view. It was just what I needed. What really made Cocos Park special, though, were the people running it. Gaetano and Vito were incredibly kind and helpful. Gaetano knows the area well and gave me lots of ideas for places to visit, plus advice on getting around and where to eat. He even pointed me to the best place in town to watch the sunset. They made me feel spoiled and looked after, and made my Ischia stay, including my birthday, unforgettable. I left wishing I could return soon. I can’t recommend Cocos Park enough. Thank you, Gaetano and Vito, for your kindness. Hopefully see you soon!

The B&B sits in gardens away from the road, so it’s peaceful at night, yet easy to reach Forio with all the buses running. There’s a fridge in the room and small supermarkets nearby for water and other bits. The owners are helpful and send useful information ahead of time to make travel easier, and Gaetano had suggestions for what to see and do. I had a fabulous 5 night stay and loved it. My room was spotless and comfortable, cleaned every day. The terrace is a lovely place to sit in the evening and handy for drying beach things. They’d even put up a little line and supplied pegs. Breakfast was great, especially the homemade cake, don’t miss it. I’m already looking forward to staying again.

Gaetano is a lovely owner with amazing English, and was always happy to help with tips for making the most of Ischia. Breakfast was simple Italian style, served with care. The cappuccino was delicious, and we enjoyed the homemade cakes and fresh fruit. We had a wonderful time at Cocos Park Ischia. The room was simply equipped. I missed having a kettle and mugs or glasses, though the provided mosquito control device turned out to be more useful. One suggestion would be to change towels less often to save water, rather than every day or second day, and to give the bathroom a general clean from time to time. All in all, Cocos Park is worth staying at and offers great value.
