Getting around from Hotel Bellavista was easy, with a bus stop right beside it and buses every 15-30 minutes depending on the time of day. The nearby village has supermarkets, cafes, bakeries, and plenty of restaurants. Sant Angelo is about a half-hour walk or a quick bus ride, and the thermal spring by the beach is around 20 minutes away. We loved the rooftop pool. It was quiet, clean, and comfortably warm from the thermal water, perfect for a swim around sunset. Our room was spotless and had a better view than many 5-star hotels. The owner was incredibly friendly and helped us whenever he could. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in.

For a 2-star hotel, this place gave us more than some 3-star and even 4-star places we’ve stayed at. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely little balcony with a beautiful view for morning coffee. The room also had AC and Netflix, though we didn’t watch it. The thermal pool is open from about 10:00 AM until around 23:30, which is a long time compared with other places. There are chairs and an umbrella, plus a vending machine nearby in case you need a drink. Everything was really clean, with daily room cleaning and fresh soap, shampoo, and face towels. The sheets were changed every 3-4 days and body towels every 2-3 days. “Grazie mille” to the owner and staff. We thought it deserved the highest rating.

The food was the standout for us. We’ve never eaten so well anywhere else, and this place deserves a Michelin star for its kitchen. Francesco is a wonderful person, and the views are beautiful too. My friends and I spent three days at BellaVista and were all impressed by the clean, well-kept rooms and the whole place. If uphill walking isn’t your thing, take the bus a few stops further and come from the Panza side. Highly recommend it. Greetings from Poland, Francesco, see you next year! :)

I come back every year. Without this place, it doesn’t feel like summer to me, and I can’t recommend it enough if you want to relax and have fun in equal measure. The staff are amazing, genuinely passionate about guests, hospitality, and tourism, and they go out of their way to make everyone comfortable. They also have plenty of tips for exploring the island, including secret paradise shores that are only reachable if you’re up for an adventure, so bring your sneakers. The hotel itself is simple, but the rooms are sparkling clean and have a home-from-home feel. The kitchen turns out tasty food every day. There’s a thermal pool fed straight from the rocks, open late into the night. The panoramic view from the apartments and pool holds your attention through sunset and even after dinner. It’s priceless. I’m already looking forward to coming back and seeing what the owners have added or changed. See you soon!
