Hotel Villa Verde

The artwork on the walls and decorations in the room gave the hotel a lovely, homely feel, and the attention to detail throughout was admirable. I spent a week at Villa Verde in Forio with my sister. Our room was very nice and clean, with a balcony, and breakfast had a great variety. I'd highly recommend staying here.

My friend and I had a great week at Villa Verde. The staff were so friendly, the room was lovely and clean, and the air conditioning was much needed. Breakfast was fabulous too. You're right in the middle of everything, close to all the good restaurants Forio has to offer.

We had such a lovely stay and are already dreaming of coming back. The hotel had a genuinely warm, almost homely feel, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. She clearly does everything she can to make guests feel at home. The breakfasts were a treat every day, with fresh pastries and tasty local products made with care. There’s also a family-run ceramics shop right next door. I fell in love with their collection and bought a few pieces, and the owner even gave us a nice discount! The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The location worked really well: the hotel is on one of Forio's main streets, close to everything we needed, but it was still peaceful and quiet. The beautiful beach was a leisurely 10-minute walk away. I loved the interior from the moment we walked in. Beautiful Italian ceramics are everywhere, and every detail has been chosen thoughtfully to create a unique, cozy atmosphere. We're so happy we picked this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone who values comfort, hospitality, and authenticity.

Breakfast was so good that we often ate enough to skip lunch, and Marianna made us a fantastic cappuccino each morning. The rooms were very clean, and the housekeeper even tidied up my shoes after I'd left them scattered on the floor when we arrived. The beds were comfortable, though they might feel firm to some. I liked sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. With the shutters closed, the room could be made very dark and quiet, and the air conditioner kept it cold. Leaving them open brought in a breeze when it wasn't too hot, though you could hear some street noise in the morning. The building is decorated with beautiful painted ceramics and artwork, much of it made by Marianna's husband. This is a charming, quintessential family-run hotel at a very reasonable price. Staying with Marianna at Hotel Villa Verde is the best way to experience Ischia, and I can't recommend it enough.
