Watching the sunset over the sea from our balcony each evening was such a treat. We were lucky to get a sea-view room, and it was spacious, clean and tidy. The staff were lovely throughout. Gianluca welcomed us warmly and shared lots of useful tips, the maids always greeted us with smiles, and the breakfast team were cheerful. I couldn’t fault anyone. The hotel is on a quiet road, with the seafront and Forio’s main town only a short walk away. There’s also a bus stop at the end of the road, which made exploring the island easy. My sister and I stayed for three nights and had a perfect time. I’d highly recommend Iris Hotel. To me, it’s a five-star experience in a three-star hotel. Thank you!

The food was a real highlight, with generous starters, lovely desserts and big portions. You choose two main dishes from four, and there are vegetarian options too. Breakfast lets you pick what you like, and I had no complaints. The hotel and rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were in great shape, with little toiletries like shampoo, soap and toothbrushes. There’s a small fridge and wardrobe in the room. The sea views are lovely, and the location is close to both the beach and town center on a quieter street. The staff, owner and receptionist were all friendly and helpful. There’s a garden, restaurant, parking, and a pool and jacuzzi open 24/7. The pool isn’t thermal, though.

The owner was so kind. On arrival, he took time to point out the island’s main sights, and later gave us a lift so we could catch our ferry back to the mainland. The hotel is in great shape, near the center of Forio, and has a good breakfast and a beautiful view from the upper rooms. Recommended.

I had a great stay at Iris hotel in May for six nights. The place is charming and spotless, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I was working as well as on holiday, and the setup worked better than I expected: reliable internet, room service at any time, and a quiet place to work. It’s close to the beach, restaurants and Forio. Thanks for a lovely stay. I’ll be back with my family next year. Greetings from London.
