The location near the beach is good, but that’s the only upside for me. Resort guests have to pay for beach access, which makes no sense. The pool was okay. The apartments felt very old, unclean, and unpleasant. I won’t stay here again. If hygiene and comfort matter to you, avoid these apartments.

We felt comfortable in the cozy, cute apartment for the whole week. The pool was nice, and the family-like atmosphere made us all feel at ease. The crew gave us a badge for the week so we could park near the semi-private beach, which was a nice perk. There’s no air conditioning. Opening the doors and windows brought in some breeze, but also left us exposed to mosquitoes. The property could use a bit of renewal to improve it.

The location is wonderful, close to several important beaches, but that’s where the good points of Capo Ceraso resort end for us. Despite being described as a family resort, it didn’t feel family-oriented or up to resort quality. The apartment was worn and old inside, and there was little for a small baby, including no suitable high chair or bath. Pool hours weren’t child-friendly either: it opened at 10:30 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m. The staff were friendly, though not always equipped to meet every need. We found cockroaches in the room on the first night and another one midway through the stay. We told the staff, and they took small steps to ease the discomfort. Since we had a baby, we expected a room change or at least some kind of special cleaning. The beautiful location made the disappointment all the greater.

It’s a peaceful, quiet spot, and we loved hearing birds each morning and taking in the beautiful view. The village is a bit far away, so you’ll need a car to get around. I’d definitely recommend it and would be happy to return.

You’ll need a car here, since no shops or places to eat are within walking distance. Even so, I’d recommend this place to everyone for as long as I live! The views were beautiful, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I’d expected a lot, but arriving still completely blew my mind. It felt like an absolute dream. Oh mio dio! :D
