La Vela

The owners were helpful with everything, from room service to planning our itinerary, and breakfast was good. The location also works especially well if you're using the buses to Amalfi or Positano. We had a great stay.

The staff made us feel so welcome, and we really appreciated their kindness and attention to detail. Breakfast and coffee were delicious before heading out. There's a bus station, pharmacy, market and other lovely Amalfi Coast towns nearby. The view is amazing, and it's such a cozy bed and breakfast.

Furore was a lovely quiet base away from the Amalfi Coast crowds, and the prices felt very reasonable for what we got. Our four-night stay was in June 2023, in the adorable, clean Economy Double Room. Biagio and his father were wonderful hosts, and Biagio made excellent cappuccinos and laid out lots of pastries, including cornettos, each morning. The B&B is next to shops in the town centre and the bus stop, which is useful because it's high up in the mountains. You'll need the bus to get down to the coast or visit Fiordo di Furore. Without a car or motorbike, be ready for plenty of steps and walking. We thought the stay was well worth it.

Baigo and his sister Anna made our three days in Amalfi so comfortable. He explained the bus details, with the stop right beside La vel hotel, and made sure we were safe while staying there. The breakfast was served hot, the kitchen was clean, and the view while eating was amazing. They gave us excellent service and helped with everything we needed. We'd love to return to La vela if we visit Amalfi again 🎉🤗
