The location was good, the rooms had air conditioning, and the directions to the parking area were clear. Still, we wouldn't come back or recommend the hotel. At breakfast, we had to use plastic glasses, couldn't choose our seats, and found almost no basic options like vegetables or tomatoes. It was mostly cakes and cookies, and the staff there were unfriendly and unprofessional. They offered only bottled water with a private label, no tap water. Our room also had a constant toilet smell, and we could hear kitchen noise clearly through the poor sound insulation. The hotel feels old, with odd features like unusual shower cabins and radios built into the beds. Communication was hard because reception and other staff either didn't speak English or spoke it very poorly. The Do Not Disturb sign was ignored whenever we left the room.

I've been here twice now, and this stay left me between two and four stars, so I'm giving it two. The room was consistently very clean, with fresh towels every day, and the kitchen kept turning out amazing food. The room location was meant to be a corner with a sea view. I've posted a photo, so you can judge for yourself. They wouldn't negotiate even a small reduction in the price. Restaurant service was uneven. On day one, at a table of three, one person's second course arrived while the other two were forgotten until we reminded them. We had to ask for water and wine after finishing the starter. By day four, service had improved a lot and was quick, friendly, and professional. But around days seven and eight, staff shortages brought the delays back. The food was very good from the first day, and the cakes and desserts were amazing. Hopefully day two will be better, I thought.
