Annunziatella was far beyond what my husband, our 13-year-old children, and I expected. We especially appreciated the welcoming, friendly feel, good food, and cleanliness. The pool is a lovely way to spend a day in the peace of Puglia's nature. We had too little time there and will definitely return for a longer stay. Special thanks to all the staff.

A lovely pool and superb breakfast made it easy to unwind and recharge. The breakfast featured local produce, and I imagine the restaurant does too, though I didn't get to try it. The place is surrounded by nature and offers every comfort, along with courteous, helpful service. It's just 25 minutes from the Sassi di Matera. Highly recommended!

We didn't get a chance to try the cooking, but the homemade jam makes us sure it's worth a taste. We arrived late in the dark, and waking up to the view was a lovely surprise. The place is surrounded by nature, very close to Matera, and we even spotted a fox. Vincenzo, the owner, is friendly and helpful, and offered advice on how to enjoy the area. Good luck, Vincenzo, I recommend it!

Eustacchio and his wife run a huge, low-impact farm, with solar panels, water from their own artesian well, pigs, and more. It was lovely to see their passion for the work. The farmhouse is just outside Matera, and the very kind owners cooked us an excellent dinner using farm products. Everything from the appetizer to dessert was special. The restaurant, clad in tuff and with a beautiful fireplace, is lovely too.

We spent a wonderful week at this family-run farmhouse in the Apulian countryside. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the food was delicious, authentic, and made with home-grown produce. It's a useful base for Matera and other places in the Apulian ravines, with the sea only a few kilometers away.
