Residence Hotel B&B Rosa

We came back in September for another fantastic week, and Valentina and Marcello were wonderful. I’d especially recommend the place to anyone traveling with pets. On our earlier stay, the residence was clean, good value for money, and had what we needed for cooking. Valentina was incredible and kind, as was the guy looking after the bikes. We’ll definitely stay another week in September.

We left two days early after my son became ill, which we believe was due to the awful hygiene. The room was dirty and dusty, with a strong smell of neglect, and the towels were dirty and unironed. That’s unacceptable at any hotel. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. We’ll never return, and I strongly advise against staying here.

The location and the double mattress were the only good parts of our stay last month. These places are rented as studios, but the kitchen needs updating. The refrigerator was switched off when we arrived, with smelly water inside. When we turned on the gas, we could smell it for a while. My partner’s pillow was breaking apart inside, like it had fallen apart in the wash, so we had to ask for two more before finding one decent pillow. The bathroom is old, with some dirty and rusty spots. They offer bike rental, but couldn’t provide a child seat. Since Gabicce is home to only families with small children, I wonder how they can offer such an incomplete service. The cleaning lady was always kind and helpful, and I want to be clear that this wasn’t her fault. The management is responsible. We won’t be back. Poor value for money.

Our room had everything we needed, including a kitchenette with all the equipment and a microwave, and it was very clean. The hotel is just a few steps from the sea, with amenities close by. We were there in early October, when it was low season, and still had a lovely stay. The staff were considerate and helpful throughout, from our first day to our second. Highly recommend it.
