Villa Giuditta

Everything is new after a recent renovation, with traditional mountain-style wood furnishings. The staff were very friendly, and the slopes are a 10-minute drive away.

Villa Giuditta is a cozy, welcoming place, and the owner is very kind. It's ideally placed for Gressoney's nearby ski slopes, which are wide and fun. From Gressoney, you can also get to the Alagna and Champoluc ski areas. A fantastic spot for skiing.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with kitchenettes that have everything you need. The manager is friendly and helpful, and there's a place to store skis and boots right by the parking lot. The downside is the soundproofing, or lack of it: you can hear all the noise from neighboring rooms. Still, it's good value for money and recommended for a weekend away. The residence is about 20 minutes from the Punta Jolanda ski slopes and 40 minutes from Staffal.

It's a relaxing place even without ski slopes of its own, and you can take nice walks to the pine forest, where there are playgrounds for children and a picnic area. Just remember it's 9.5 km from Gressoney Saint Jean, where the ski lifts are. The location in Gaby, below Gressoney Saint Jean, works well for couples and families with children. The rooms are clean and well kept, with a kitchenette, induction stovetop, microwave, and refrigerator. There's a full bathroom with a shower, and a small TV in the room can also be seen from the connected dining area. There is no washing machine. The owner is very welcoming and helpful, and nearby you'll find a small, well-stocked minimarket, a tobacconist, a café/restaurant with excellent food, and an equally good pizzeria just down the road. The chalet-style furnishings have a chalet feel.
