Grand Hotel Le Rocce

There’s basically nothing to do in the evening except eat at the overpriced restaurant. You can’t even go for a walk from the hotel: there’s nowhere to go except along the main road, where drivers go like crazy, with glass and trash everywhere. It’s all private properties, so you can’t get to the beach on foot anywhere. The pool and beach close at 7pm, which is way too early, and after that you can’t even access the beach or pool terrace. They don’t open until 9am either, way too late. The hotel feels like it has nothing to do, and it’s massively overpriced. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. For half the price, you can get a much better hotel in Poland.

The only thing I’d suggest changing is offering a corking fee. We found some great local wines, but they weren’t available at the restaurant. That’s just an idea for improvement, not a knock on the place. Everything we tried at lunch and dinner was great, and guests could always get a table since availability is limited for locals and others. Breakfast was the best we had in all of Italy, by American standards, I guess. There were always beach chairs and umbrellas available. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and someone was always there to answer our questions. We had no complaints during our 5 days at LE Rocce. Highly recommend it!

We loved our 4 nights at Grand Hotel le Rocce. The peaceful, protected beach was perfect for swimming and relaxing, and the pool area had plenty of places to lounge and take in the view. The hotel is perched on a cliff, with breathtaking sea views and a magical setting. Rooms are a bit small, but comfortable enough for sleeping, and with so much else to enjoy, we didn’t want to stay inside. Food and drinks were excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The atmosphere was serene and welcoming, a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Breakfast on the terrace was delightful, with a good choice of delicious food in a superb setting. We stayed in a standard room with a balcony for a lovely weekend at Grand Hotel le Rocce. It had a super king bed and was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with a fantastic view down to the beach. We mostly ate out in Gaeta, 15 mins away, though we had one evening meal at the hotel and enjoyed that too. The pool area was lovely, but we especially enjoyed the beach and sea. Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
