La farfalla

The apartment itself is nice, but booking it was a huge mistake. It’s in a smelly, old building, with a 1970s windowless bathroom, painted tiles, and a dusty fan that barely works. The shower is so tiny, and the bathroom so disgusting, that we didn’t use it. €170 for one night was outrageous. I checked, and a hotel with breakfast included would have been both better and cheaper. Paid street parking costs €15 a day, which seemed outrageous for Gaeta. In response to the owner: two large dogs? I think you must mean someone else. The building is old, and people smoke in the hallways and elevator despite the sign. If you think it smells like roses, that’s up to you.
