Agriturismo Prisma

The quiet on the property was such a lovely way to arrive, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings with wine and a snack, listening to cicadas as the sun went down behind the trees. It’s a rustic agriturismo in the hills near galbiate, run by a welcoming family who shared some of the property’s history that we couldn’t find online. They were rebuilding after being hit hard by covid. We had breakfast on our last morning in the big restaurant below the converted hay barn. It was a fresh continental spread with coffee and ruby orange juice, and we got to chat with more of the very friendly family. They looked after us and the other guests so well. The location is a little out of the way, but makes a good base for visiting nearby towns and villages. Even though we arrived very late after a long delay, lovely angy met us herself. Communication had been fantastic throughout. They kindly upgraded us to a larger room with a mini kitchen, including a fridge, sink, hob, cleaning products, dishes, glasses and utensils. There were two bottles of water in the fridge, and in the warm weather we were glad to have the fan. The room had a huge bed and a large sofa bed, so it could fit four. I’d happily come back, and I wish the family all the best.
