I was very happy with my stay at B&B Carra City and would return when I’m in the area. As a solo female traveler, I spent 3 nights here and felt well looked after. Antonio was kind and helpful, and the staff were helpful too, even though they didn’t speak much English. I need to learn Italian, but the translation app did the job! The room had one bed, a bathroom with a shower, AC, a mini fridge, a luxurious shower with changing lights, a flat screen TV, and complimentary cookies and wine. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with a full Italian spread and lots of healthy options for vegetarians and meat-eaters, as well as more indulgent choices. The B&B is luxurious and fully equipped with a gym, jacuzzi and a sauna available in winter. It’s about 20 minutes on foot from the city center, close to bus stations and in a very walkable area. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and easy to get to from the city center and convenience stores. I stayed three nights and had a wonderful time, with excellent service and very friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend it. One thing, though: the stated check-in and check-out times weren’t accurate.

The owner was warm and generous with guests, and personally kept an eye on everything. The staff were friendly and quick with service. Everywhere was perfectly clean, and the chic, beautiful rooms were matched by a delicious breakfast with a huge range of choices. A wonderful luxury hotel. We’ll definitely return!

We spent three nights here and won’t soon forget the stay. The accommodation was superb, with magnificent decor somewhere between a manor house and a luxury hotel. There are only four rooms, which makes it feel intimate. Ederlyne and Soraya were lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was incredibly good, all fresh products prepared with care. Antonio was only there on the evening we arrived, so we wish we’d had another chance to thank him. He was incredibly kind: after we’d had trouble getting in, he offered us wine and a charcuterie snack. We were tired and didn’t want to go out, so he suggested ordering pizzas. They were very good, and we were offered another glass of wine. At first, the doorbell wasn’t working and everything seemed closed. We called the owner but left off the +39 area code, so naturally the call didn’t go through. After walking around Gallipoli for a little while, we returned and found another entrance on the other side of the building, where the bell worked. The price was more than reasonable, and in the end, our first evening’s meal was free. Exceptional, magnificent experience. A huge thank you!
