The location is the one real advantage. I had planned to spend three nights in Gallipoli but left after one for personal reasons. When we arrived, the front door latch wasn't working properly. It was partly dealt with by leaving the door open day and night, but someone in the building later locked it again. To get in, I had to ring the intercom for the whole building. The person traveling with me is lactose intolerant. I told the owner of the bar about it, but he didn't know. The person who answered the hotel's phone was very dismissive about solving the problem, saying things like, “I'm not in Gallipoli right now,” and that the bar had no lactose-free breakfast items. I'm from Puglia and was returning to Salento, and it left me thinking there are a lot of people improvising in tourism.

Our room was in a quiet residential area, clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful with all sorts of concerns, even ones unrelated to the stay. The property is at the end of the main street, just a few steps from Gallipoli's old town, so the location is very convenient. Highly recommended!

Mr. Mario and Mrs. Giusy were both very kind. My wife and I found the room fully equipped with all the comforts, including a stovetop and utensils. The location is excellent, only steps from the center.
