Hotel Du Parc

Luigi was very responsive while I planned our wedding welcome party at Hotel Du Parc from the USA. I wasn't sure what the venue would look like or how the food would taste, but everything turned out spectacular. Luigi and Giuseppe were kind and attentive, and the whole staff was great. The setting right by the lake had an amazing view. The food was plentiful, delicious, and beautifully presented. We couldn't have asked for more, and we're so grateful for the memories from that day. Thank you, Luigi and Giuseppe!

Garda town and several swimming spots on the lake are easy to reach on foot. The hotel itself has character, though it is a bit old. There's a large outdoor area with a restaurant, bar, and Infiniti pool facing Lake Garda. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished, and the service is friendly and helpful. It could do with renovation.

We booked a table for 15 on the terrace for a special dinner with friends and family. Because the weather changed, the restaurant moved us indoors, which was fine. I'd asked my assistant/coordinator to decorate the table with a few candles and menus for a small celebration. On arrival, rude staff pulled my husband and me aside and bluntly said we had to pay extra because we were seated “separately” in a dimly lit open room with no other occupied tables. I showed them the email chain and booking: we'd never asked for a separate room, just a table big enough for 15. There were other tables available in that room, so the restaurant being nearly empty wasn't our fault. They still insisted on the extra charge. We've been to Italy many times and know the money-making approach, but this spoiled our dinner. The service was poor, the food was poor, and we were charged extra for something we hadn't asked for. We wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Avoid it.

The garden view was the one good thing. Our three-night stay had no Wi-Fi in the room, a broken fridge, and AC that didn't work. The place was very old, the room cleaning was poor, the toilets were awful, and the staff weren't very good. The lift was far too small and bad. My review keeps getting deleted.
