Hotel Villa Del Sogno

The Loggia suite was a highlight, and my wife and I even got married on its balcony. This was the peak of our honeymoon, and if I could, I’d return every year. The property and the care they put into it made the stay feel truly five-star. Our room was spotless, with dust-free floors, and they cleaned it several times a day. At bedtime they left chocolate in the room. The pool and grounds were immaculate too. We also really liked the restaurant: it had a fine-dining feel, but the prices were reasonable.

Breakfast was great, and the service felt personal. We stayed three nights, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The hotel has a lot of character, and the bathroom was modern with a comfortable bed. I’d recommend it and would go back, though with so many hotels nearby, I might choose a different one next time. For a five-star place, I did miss some modern plugs or USB sockets, plus a kettle or coffee and tea setup in the room.

The main terrace is a dream, and I’d strongly suggest booking a room with its own terrace or balcony too. The service was thoughtful and impeccable: things we’d requested with an earlier meal showed up at the next one before we had to ask. We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is in a quieter part of the lake, though you should be prepared for lots of steps or have a car. The view makes it worth it.

We stayed in the tower suite, which was lovely, and the roof terrace had great views. The hotel really takes care of what you need, and we simply love it. Service was world class, especially in the restaurant. The food was superb, with a fantastic choice, and the wine list is extensive. The bar has anything you could want, and dinner prices are very fair.
